West Island 5K FAQ

Are strollers allowed? Expand

Yes, we want this to be a family friendly event. For your safety and the safety of the other runners and walkers, please stay vigilant of those moving around you.

Why will the kids participating in the Kids Mile Fun Run NOT receive a race shirt? Expand

Our goal is to encourage as many kids as possible to participate in this event. In order to make that affordable to the registrants, each participant with receive a special gift.

Where can I park for the event? Expand

There will be several locations to park that are conveniently located to the event start. First, you will be able to park at Hoppy's Landing which is on the right hand side before you cross the causeway. From Hoppy's Landing, you will only need to walk or jog no more than a 1/2 mile to the registration table, number pick, and race start. You can also park in a spacious field on Sconticut Neck Road less than 1 mile from the start. Just park your car and you will be shuttled to and from the start.
